Interactive Full-text Translation
The automatic translation results can be uploaded to the TranServer for proofreading, thus the translation accuracy can be upgraded and improved interactively. Furthermore, the translation result preserves the layout and format of the original text and can be edited and proofread in text editors such as Microsoft Office, Notepad, Wordpad, Outlook Express etc.
Language Learning Platform

Translate Emails

Translate the entire email from Chinese to English and from English to Chinese for just a second. In one click you can understand the content, name and news in a specific email sent to you by your friends, compose emails in a different language and send them to your friends.

To translate emails:

• Open the emails from Internet Explorer browser or Microsoft Outlook Express. You can either translate the entire email or select a specific portion in an email to translate. Make sure to wait until the entire webpage containing your email has been downloaded before you start to translate the email.
• Type in the email you want to compose in the language you know, then click full-text translation and edit.  After the new webpage containing your email appears in the screen, you can send it directly to your friends by clicking corresponding Send button in the translated page.

The result will show both the original email and the translated email.

Translate Websites

Translate websites as you browse the website:

• Click full-text translation or webpage translation button from EICQ toolbar. Make sure to wait until the entire webpage you are browsing has been downloaded before you translate the webpage.
• Select a portion of the webpage, and click Select Translation button from EICQ toolbar.

The result will show both the original website and the translated website.

Translate Documents

Translate documents from English to Chinese or from Chinese to English, including documents in RTF, TXT, DOC and HTML formats. The total number of pages you can translate is unlimited and the estimated time for translation is 10 pages per minute. Just click full-text translation and edit button from EICQ toolbar, and EICQ will return the translated results page by page in the original format, preserving pictures, hyperlinks and sound files.

To translate documents:

Open a document in RTF, TXT, DOC and HTML formats. Use full-text translation function if you want to translate the whole document and edit it after translation, or use select translation if you want to translate certain portion of the document. Based on how accurate you want the translated result be, you can choose and combine any of these translation modes:

• EICQ Local + Edit the document before you translate
• EICQ Network + Edit the document before you translate
• EICQ Local + Edit the document before translation + Edit after translation

Translate Powerpoint & Excel

Translate Powerpoint presentations and Excel files from English to Chinese or from Chinese to English. Just click full-text translation and edit button from EICQ toolbar, and EICQ will return the translated presentations and files in the original format, preserving pictures, hyperlinks and image files.

To translate a word, a phrase and even a poem, just enter the word or phrase in the Chinese English bi-directional dictionary from EICQ toolbar, or enter the word, phrase or poem in a blank Microsoft Word file, then click full-text translation. EICQ translates language information that covers a broad assortment of topics and 40 professional fields, including phrases, names, classic poems, proverbs, and more.

To translate words, phrases or poems:

• Enter the word or phrase in the dictionary from EICQ toolbar
• Enter the word, phrase or poem in a blank Microsoft Word file

Speak Chinese

Learn how to speak Chinese from EICQ. EICQ is an interactive language leaning tool. It can help people overcome language learning difficulties by providing the most exhaustive Chinese English bilingual knowledge base. You can learn how to speak Chinese at home without having access to a native instructor. Designed to simulate real life conversation to suit most work and social environments, with adjustable speaking speed, either at a learning speed or at a native speaking speed, EICQ will teach you how to speak, read, and even write basic Chinese characters, words and phrases in the context of real life. The Chinese English dictionary included in EICQ not only provides you the written meaning of the English equivalent, but it also allows you to view Pinyin (the official Pinyin Romanization method of the People’s Republic of China and hear the pronunciation of entries.

• If you want to learn how to pronounce certain Chinese character, just copy and paste the Chinese character into the dictionary from EICQ toolbar, and click the Speak button appearing below, which is followed by Pinyin of the Chinese character.
• If you want to learn how to pronounce certain Chinese word or phrase, enter the Chinese word or phrase in a blank Microsoft Word file, and click select translation Chinese Simplified to English. After the Chinese word or phrase appears in the new window, with its English translation below, click Speak button on the left.
• If you want to learn how to speak Chinese without knowing the Chinese character, enter the English into the dictionary from EICQ toolbar. After the Chinese equivalent appears below, copy and paste the Chinese equivalent into the dictionary again. To copy the Chinese character(s), highlight the Chinese word or phrase, usually divided by punctuations, and use the button above second to the end. After the dictionary reads the Chinese character(s), click the Speak button appearing below, followed by Pinyin of the Chinese character(s).
• If you want to learn how to speak Chinese without knowing Chinese at all, enter the English word, phrase or sentence in a blank Microsoft Word file, and click select translation Chinese Simplified to English. After the English word, phrase or sentence appears in the new window, with its Chinese translation below, click Speak button on the right.
